Route

How we’re getting there

There is no specified route to be followed on the Mongol Rally. Team’s leave one of three start points (London, Madrid or Rome) on July 19th and proceed to Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia following whichever route they please. The London start point is in Hyde Park. Please keep July 19th free to support us at the start line.

There is an organised meeting point in Prague on the second night of the rally, and two arrival parties in Mongolia. The first party is August 16th, and the second ‘late comers party’ is August 23rd.

The proposed order of countries on our journey to Mongolia is as follows:

England -> France -> Belgium -> Germany -> Czech Republic -> Poland -> Ukraine -> Russia -> Kazakhstan -> Uzbekistan -> Tajikistan -> Kyrgyzstan (by the end of the trip Derek might be able to spell this first attempt) -> Kazakhstan -> Russia -> Mongolia!
